THE BRONX – The Bronx man charged in an accident that killed three people last Halloween, including a 10-year-old girl, left the Bronx Hall of Justice free on bail Tuesday, but the judge ordered Howard Unger to surrender his driver’s license.
Prosecutors say Unger allegedly drove his car while knowing he had not taken his seizure medication. His lawyer denies that accusation.
Unger faces three counts of criminally negligent homicide, manslaughter and assault in connection with a crash that killed three trick-or-treaters.
Unger is due back on court Jan. 31.
